Keyshot version 8.0.247
Floating License - Penn Color

Hello, this morning I went to use Keyshot and it asked me to register, even though we have been using Keyshot 8 for some time now. Since we have a floating license I re-entered the license key and it was successful in opening.

Previously I had imported colors via an excel file to the general color folder in the library. Now the general color folder along with the stock colors and added subfolders are gone. The locked folders FED-Std/RAL/Pantone folders are still there.
When I go to the file path where the colors are stored for Keyshot 8 the color.kcl file reads 0 kb.

Is there something I can do to get the file back? Could this have been an issue stemming from the licensing issue?
I attached a screen shot of the library missing the folder and with the file path up for the colors.kcl

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello Fred,

Thank you for submitting your post.

I can certainly clarify. The color library and a floating license are not related to each other. To get your color .kcl file back, I suggest running the full installer for KeyShot.

Thank you Bruno! I was able to run the full installer to fix the issue.
