Hi All,

Just wondering if its possible to create VR walkthroughs in Keyshot? Is the VR rendering option just for like 360 degree views of rooms etc? Looking to use this mainly for interiors.

Thanks,

Josh

Hello Josh.

You can add several cameras in your scene (using the walk through mode) and set the camera type to panoramic > spherical (no stereo option). Now you can render them out in a high resolution (e.g. 4000 x 2000 pixel). These can be connected via services like vrtome or a similar solution - or you can use Unity to connect the images. So you get a GuidedVR solution (like Street View from Google). The VR player from GoPro is capable to show these images and can navigate along a folder.

With the stereo option of the panoramic camera (cube map) active, you can render images that can be viewed using a cardboard or S-View (or similar)

Hope that helps
Cheers
