I use a lot of backplate images when rendering with Keyshot - to me rendering in situ is perhaps the biggest benefit of realtime - ideal for perspective matching and dropping product into a scene.

One of the problem with this though is that I usually still have to take the render into Photoshop and crop it as when you import a backplate the render size remains as before so you need to move the corners of the render window to try to match it. Typing in exact render sizes doesn't always work either.

So to speed up this workflow dramatically - and negate the need to crop in Photoshop, I would like Keyshot to have a button that when checked, changes the render window to the exact pixel size of the imported backplate AND changes the render size setting to the exact size of the backplate image, and locks the aspect ratio to that dimension as well.

This would then change the workflow to be - import backplate>done. rather than import backplate then fiddle around for a few mins trying to match the window size visually, change the render pixel sizes manually, do a test render to "set" the settings, then try to match it all again.

I would "think" this would be a relatively easy enhancement to do?
