Hallo, Keyshot community.

I m rendering a Protein model (Ubiquitin) with membrane (liquid).

When i use the Backplate image the edges of the liquid goes dark, and when use the environment as background it goes away.

But I need to use the Backplate Image in this Rendering. How can I avoid the dark areas in the liquid?

I tried the global illumination, bumping up the ray bounces and using self shadows. non of these worked.

I would be very happy if any of you know anything about that.

Thank you very much in advance.
best regards

The easiest solution is to render it with the environment visible, but with transparency enabled so you can add the backplate in post. It's a second step but the most straightforward way to get the results you're looking for.
