Adding geometry with fuzz to new model set

Just curious if this is the intended behavior for geometry with fuzz. When I add to a new or existing model set, the fuzz geometry node isn't 'executed' in the model set it was added to. I have to go find the material, open the MatGraph and execute geometry nodes there after making some "change". Alt-G doesn't work and clicking Execute Geometry Nodes does nothing. I typically do a color preview then Execute and it works.

It just seems like when something is added to a model set and there is fuzz on one of the materials that it should automatically execute.
