Create animation fade/translation dynamically using script?

Is it possible to automate the setting up of animation translation/rotate/fade events of objects using scripting, rather than having to manually open the animation wizard and create every single event manually?

Also switching objects in and out of view at differing times?

Effectively generating and choreographing a movie via script.

From reading, I'm finding it hard to understand what scripting allows or doesn't allow you to do.

Thanks

No insight either way, whether it is possible or not?

Thanks in advance

It is not possible to define an animation via script or manipulate the animation node properties. I would prefer to use the model library. Just store a set of dummy objects with the animation setup you need for specific tasks. Then you can import them into the scene, tweak the properties, copy the animation and paste it linked or unlinked to your parts.

Just use the regular features before go scripting. (an advice)
