import big size (about 12 GB) Alembic file into Keyshot

Hi,

Try to import a very big size (about 12GB) Alembic file into Keyshot, but it keep saying out of memory, is there any limitations?

Did you tried it with another hardware that has way more RAM?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Before we used a rig which got 16GB of RAM, of course it failed, but when we switched to another one which got 64GB ram still cannot make it.

Alembic is not very efficient and even though the file is 'only' 12GB, unpacking it and working with all the textures, animations, etc can easily max out your harddrive.
I would recommend finding a way to reduce the size of the scene to something more manageable.
