The lack of textures presets can be filled by creating an empty textured material preset for each texture, but the workflow can be sped up with textures presets

A preset would save favourite profiles for some or all the settings of a texture, starting with the map itself, the dimensions, the mapping method, the orientation, the bump height, and the merging colour.

It's with procedurals that it really comes in handy, making it possible to save every sorts of settings, so that the same procedural can be used for a number of different effects: the waving of a panel, the particles of spray paint... You'd just need to load the preset and slightly adapt it to the scene,

instead of setting it from the ground up or bringing an empty textured material in the material graph, linking the texture to the desired channels and deleting the empty node.
