Visibility for objects in the animation timeline ON/OFF

It would be nice to have the option to show or hide objects in the animation.

Example: at the beginning of the animation there are 2 cylinders in the scene.
The camera moves around those cyilinders for 4 seconds.
After 2 seconds one of the cylinders smoothly fades out of the scene.
