I"m trying to get the look like a logo was screen on to a brushed sheet of metal.  When I place the .png on the surface I want it, doesn't have the texture of the underlying material showing through.
Any ideas?
I'm using KS3.

You will need to apply it as a color map instead. If you assign it as label, all you can change is the reflectivity.

That would be a nice feature for the future though!-->Allowing textures to propagate through labels!, especially when you want to add and manipulate multiple labels/icons during concept exploration.

Another nice feature for labels would be the ability to make them emissive if you desired.  That'd sure be a quick way to simulated LED backlit icons and/or buttons on a control panel, digital clock or cell phone keypad :)

re making it emissive: This could be achieved with the intensity slider.
