Any Idea What is Happening Here??

I rendered this file and it came out a little brighter that the screen preview I was getting at the time (a nice glossy white iPhone case), then when I closed the render window, the preview got all bleached out (see the posted image).

I've checked all of my settings (nothing different than normal), I've reloaded the HDRI, but nothing changes. Any ideas??

Have you adjusted the contrast setting in the environment tab? That may have this problem.

Let me know if that is it.

no it was still where it had been before. I have a few incremental versions of this file so I went back to check settings and all were the same.
I deleted the HDRI from the library, then re-imported it to the library then loaded it back in the scene and it seemed to fix it.

I don't know why that worked, because that same HDRI was in nearly all of my other scenes and they weren't out of whack.

At least it's working now!!
