When you drag chrome from the material library onto individual parts in the model, it add a new chrome to your project each time.

You can instead drag the chrome to one part, then right click "select material" then right click on other parts and "apply selected material". The hot keys for this are shift+left click to select and shift+right click to apply selected. Doing it this way will allow you to apply one single chrome material to all the parts you want.

We will work on some additional ways to help organize materials though.

Thank you

I already do that, but it creates a new chrome (or othert) sphere material in the editor, even if the materaial has the similar properties  :'(

Other option is to well color your parts in your CAD, then import in KS without "Keep Individual Parts" ...... but then it's important to very very touroughly "group"-color in advance (which isn't easy) ..
