VR File Formats?

Is it possible to have the images save as png instead of jpg for the VR's?
I believe html5 does support png files, and it would be nice to have the files with transparency.

I've set the default file type to png in preferences, but when I run a VR it always saves jpg files.

Yes, we plan to add this functionality as well.
