So here is a rendering in Keyshot of the new Spartan Self Contained Leaf Vacuum:

I have a number of issues with this rendering.  In general, it seems that the yellow paint material (Paint Yellow #68, Metallic Paint) is way to reflective.  I would like to tone it down quite a bit.  The aluminum fuel tank is the same way - appearing almost black.  All of the materials seem that way actually.  The environment is also overreflecting in the railing near the seat.

I am also disapointed with the tires - too "flat" or rough looking.

There are some strange "triangle patterns where the hose goes into the blower housing.

This was modeled in KeyCreator and imported as OBJ.  BTW, where can I get the KeyCreator plugin?

Also, where can I check what environment is in this file?  I'm not sure which one I am using.

Your environment brightness and gamma settings are probably very high.Please share so I can help.

Hit H to see what environment your are using.

Plugin comes with KeyCreator.

How many raybounces do you have?

bonnell

Brightness = 1
Gamma = 1.2
Ray Bounces = 6

Which HDRI are you using?

I find that particular HDRI very glary. How does it look in the Gravel pit one?

Try and use one of the new KeyShot environments. Much better balanced.
