I was trying out the new scene interface, and was clicking away to hide/unhide different imported objects.

First thing I noticed, though, is that I wasn't able to rename anything. That's a huge feature request!

But then I managed to get it behave so that even though I clicked on individual objects, the entire tree's checkboxes appeared or disappeared (but this was not reflected in the rendering window).

Moments after, it crashed with the following error:

Hmm... this time I was leafing through material types for a material quite quickly... and it crashed again...

I noticed that it crashes in the same DLL though, so I would hazard a guess that you need to look over your new GUI code:

Hi, I seem to be getting lots of problems with crashes, on both OSX and Windows 7 64 bit. Also with it corrupting files on crashing to they need to be completely 'rebuilt' from the STEP data.  Just wondering which system you are using?

Thanks
