I'm new to KS and this forum. Please bear with me on these seemingly simple questions.

For the life of me I can't seem to open SketchUp files (.SKP) in KS. I've even tried converting the .SKP files downloaded from Google Warehouse to the file types available including older .SKP versions, i.e., .skp, .dae, .kmz.. Still no joy.  When trying to open these files with the various pathways available within KS, they're always grayed out and not available.

I see there's a KS plugin for Sketchup, but only available for the PC. Can .skp files only be opened in KS with the PC version?

Setup:
Mac OSX 10.6.8
Keyshot 3.3.33
SketchUp 8.0.15157

Just tested this using KeyShot 3.3.33 on Mac OS X 10.8.2 - no problems. We will test with 10.6.

Thomas - Thanks for the effort.

I recently requested support help and forwarded the offending .SKP files. At our office we have a few licenses for Keyshot, mine being a Mac version. I asked a co-worker with the most recent PC version of Keyshot, and the SketchUp plugin loaded. He had no problem accessing SketchUp files.

I'm under a deadline and might have to use a another working path to complete my project, which is unfortunate. Any other insights that people can provide here would be appreciated.
