Im pretty sure the car bodywork reflections shouldn't be blurred because the car is moving and the environment is static, but in my opinion an ever so slight blur would mimic paint grain and imperfections in the paintwork
well i added grain and noise, and a bit of gaussian blur (2%)on ps and some retouch here and there..and i thought was a nice one...

Guys, i don't mean you need to blur all the environement.

Take a look at the windshield and hood of thoses car :

You only need to blur some parts of the hdr.
Please don't use photoshop. Use specialised software like "virtual rig studio" etc...

On the other hand, your render is from a side view, my exemple are 3/4 view, i'm maybe wrong, the best is to find reference on google.

Nice idea, to blur hdri..i didn't know about specialist software like wirtualrig..(hm but is real expensive), however your idea could be right to use on it..
Thanks...

I wouldn't worry about the blurs. To me the car looks flat. Like you cut the car out and glued it on the backdrop. I run into that prob all the time with side views.

These Peugeots are obviously rendered ...

;D ;D ;D

Ok Egon, i understand..
So if is flat, what would be your idea/suggestion to make it not flat?? (i Just ask, only because for me is not flat, so i can't reach and find a right solution)

I put you picture on my ipad Retina. I showed about 5 people the image without telling them it was rendered. Not one of them said anything about it being flat, or the reflections being imperfect . In fact the first words out of their mouth was " that's cool". It's so easy to nitpick when you know it's a render. I take back what I said.

Hm that's nice...but me and you know that's a render, and so if someone more expert than me , tells it's something like flat, ..would be nice for me to know the way to get improve on it..so i asked only for that Egon.. ;)
i really know your renders works and your quality..so all your suggestions are appreciated; so if you have any idea or way to get a better render..i'm here to listen..for sure...
Thanks..
