Sharing resources - backplates/environments, etc.

When sharing resources it would be nice to be able to 'browse' to a folder rather than type in the (long) path to the folder.
Last week I managed to add a 'shared folder' for 'backplates' but I can't seem to do the same for 'environments'. To be honest, I can't remember exactly how I did it - what's the procedure please - do I have to type in the folder location exactly as it appears in the folder 'properties'?

FWIW I found the easiest way to do it was Edit -> Preferences -> Folders and customise each folder...
