Mr Sheen

I'm a complete novice to all this and my renderings and are not a patch on any of yours, but I still wanted to share these with you....

:D looking good mate, might want to up the smoothing on your model a couple of times just to get rid of the jaggy edges (esp around the wheels). Great start! I've only just started myself and within a week or so, with a lot of playing around, you can get some fantastic renders.
Dont forget to visit grabcad to get some models to have a practise with :)

Mr Sheen

Thanks and I appricaite your comments.

I must say I do love your Ferrari renders  8)

Hey thanks mate, those were my first ever ones  :) I've never rendered anything like that before.. I did try V-ray a few times, but all that setting up with the lights/camera's/materials etc,.. it all gets in the way! KS cuts out all the BS to get what you want. Quality of model is quite important though - give this Lambo model a try http://grabcad.com/library/lamborghini-gallardo-lp560-4
The quality is amazing, but the STL file is a bloomin whopper.
When the STL comes in, make sure you select all the parts and unlink all the materials so you can apply your own.
