Quaternion Julia Fractals

Hey

I've decided to create a new thread dedicated to these beautiful mathematical objects - I'll keep adding images as and when...

I'm a huge fan of fractals in any shape or form, but especially the Julia set...

I don't think the majority of Keyshooters realise how unique it is to have the ability to render a 3D slice of a 4D fractal in an advanced render engine like KeyShot - in the past the only way to do this was to use a dedicated fractal raytracer, then export the geometry as an .OBJ or such... even then, filesizes were huge and often unmanageable. So, thanks Henrik, these renders are dedicated to you...

Thanks John! The images look great. And the more fractal images that are posted the more likely it will be updated in future releases of KeyShot We may even add some animation capabilities...
