Does KEYSHOT normally run @ 99% CPU usage?

We've just purchased Alibre along w/ Keyshot so I'm new to this program and I'm wondering if Keyshot normally runs that hot?

And I'm not talking about rendering, just opening the program and letting it sit still runs at 99% of my CPU.
Which is a Intall Core2 2.33Ghz w/ 2gig Ram

Is there a reason for Keyshot using up that much CPU?

ETA: I'm running XP-SP3


ETA2:  Also still running the trial version.

Yes this is normal behavior. KeyShot is raytracing all the time.
