I often resort to screenshots instead of offline rendering, because the real-time renderer is in many situations the fastest method and because my screen resolution 1920 x 1200 pixels is often more than enough.

Currently screenshots can only be taken in 8bpc image formats.
It would be realy nice if it were possible to take screenshots in full float (32bpc) image formats, like TIFF32 or EXR. These formats are already available for offline rendering.
Quite frankly, a huge chunk of precious rendering information is thrown out of the window by saving to 8 bit. :)

I reckon the KeyShot real-time rendering algorithms are working in floating point? Would it take much development to enable 32bpc screenshots?
