Just trying to create realistic suede and leather using the new procedurals available in KeyShot 4.1

The metal is also procedurally generated on the suede chair with the exception of the scratch map which is an image.

I tried to do a similar images to this a while back with Maxwell Render, but struggled immensely (and I know it well !!) but honestly it took probably 5 minutes at the most to set these scenes up and another 5 each to render them. Astounding really... When you push this software, boy does it deliver in spades...

Thanks for looking and commenting

Well, this suede has been around a bit... it's a bit on the rough side  ;)

Looks pretty accurate to me. ;)
I agree on the 'push software' bit!

Very interesting.

Ps - thats some throne you got there, Metal Master!

Yes, this is excellent looking John. Great example of how the procedurals can be used!

These look very nice. Totally outside of the ordinary renderings we see on the forum. I love the way you are pushing the texture capabilities to their limits. Keep up the great work.

John, any chance of seeing those materials on the KeyShot Cloud?  ;D

Hi Richard, I'll take a look on my laptop, but I have a feeling that the suede and leather are gone when I did a culling of files a while ago...
