Annoying Live Linking

This seams to be a persistent problem with live linking that I'm having mainly with large assemblies. When I update one element in SolidWorks and hit update Keyshot brings another part into the scene which contains the update. This wouldn't be such a problem as i can be deleted, but what I wanted updated hasn't updated (see brass colour on image).

Can this be fixed or an I doing something wrong.
