Hello,

Nice to meet you all. My name is Oskar Berzer.
First of all I would like to say "sorry" for my poor language skills.

I need to make some kitchen sink render and I'm trying to make nice material for it. I don't meen polished metal or something like that. This sink is made from sink and crushed stone.

I would like to get somethink like this:
-------------

-------------

-------------

1st material:

2nd msterial:

3rd material - "FRAGRANIT"

So... what can I say... I need help with this  :'(

Start with a plastic material and apply the texture as both a bump and texture.

Hope this helps.

And be sure that your texture JPEG is "square", or at a 1:1 Aspect Ratio.  750 x 750 is a good size.  In KS, also make sure that you "link" or sync, the size and angle on the Texture and Bumpmap tabs.  They should be identical on both.

Doesn't have to be square, though ...

Doesn't have to be square?  That's good to know as it saves a lot of prep time.  Thanks for the heads up, Thomas!

Sure thing ... I always use a rectangular shaped texture from CG Textures in my demos. Once applied it will keep the aspect ratio, unlike version 1.9 where it made it all rectangular, thus potentially squishing your texture. Not anymore :-)

Ok. Thanks. I will try some textures and I will show you what I get.
