I'm currently evaluating the KeyShot program to see if it will work for us.

The learning curve is not too steep, but I ran into one particular problem.

One of our products is cylindrical in shape, with a hole at the top (screenshot attached).  I want to put a circular label centered around the hole.  However, when I try to position the label, it doesn't want to do that.  It sort of "skips over" the hole and seems to want to center itself one either side of it, but not in the middle.

If anyone can give me some advice on how to overcome this problem, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Use the Shift X & Y, under the label mapping properties, to fine tune the placement.
Tip: When applying labels, look straight at the surface you're applying the label to.  ;)

Change the projection type of the label to "planar Z" (double click on the material that carries the label).

Then dial in the position using Shift X / Shift Y - most likely it will be -0.5 / -0.5.

Hope this helps.
