Grouped parts in a Solid Edge assembly do not import

Hello,

I imported an assembly from Solid Edge ST5 and noticed that items grouped in the assembly will not import into Keyshot.  Grouping parts does not move them to another subassembly, it's just a way to organize them in the main assembly.  Has anyone else seen this problem?

If you have an example that you can share we would be happy to take a look.

Also, if you upgrade to ST6, you can use the plugin which makes the transfer of data from SE to KeyShot even faster.

Hi Thomas,

The model is a concept for a patentable product so I can't put anything out in public.  I did talk with the people at Solid Edge and it looks like ST6 will the better solution since it has a live link to Keyshot.  I have ST6 on my desk but have not installed it yet.  I will do so in the near future.
