Changing component colour

Hi  ,

I am putting together a short animation on one of our products.  I am taking it apart and re-assembling it.

Can I add an animation whereby a component is highlighted somehow?  Changing colour or showing an outline for example.

It is a bit of a clunky solution, but you could try making a slightly larger or smaller copy of the component and changing the color of that copy. By then fading out one version of the part, the other will appear and disappear.

Doing it in post would also be an option, I guess.
