Speedster

My "namesake", the 1913 "Fronty OHV Ford Speedster, a real hot rod in the day.  Shown in classic red for the dapper dude about town, and more sedate cream/chocolate for his gal.  Or was it the other way around?

SolidWorks, with my favorite "background_1" backplate and the "Studio Simple Automotive" with four added pins, both from the KeyShot Cloud.  Minimal post in CS5.

Lighting my flat surface sheet metal models is always a challenge- I'm jealous of you guys who render smooth sexy cars, as there's so much more to work with.

I drove one of these a long time ago, and at 60 mph (top speed!) it was a terrifying experience watching the fenders vibrate and threaten to tear off, with no seat belt, and bugs hitting the monocle windshield.
