Nice one! Its always impressive when boring, technical sh!t can be turned into something really watchable/viewable. I take it this is all toon materials rendered out? I must try this if I ever work on the guts of a product (which i don't often).

Thanks Ed. As you say, it's hard to make something dull look interesting. Robots and fast cars might be easier... I'll need to give it a try!
All toon material, transparent apart from the edges. Hardest part is getting the animation to line up with the photo at the end.

I think iv read a tip about animating it in reverse, so you are essentially starting with your hero shot then 'flipping' the animation in the timeline. On that note, Im adding camera to camera transitions as an animation feature to my wish list.

That's kind of how I did it, Ed. Starting at the end and working backwards. Camera settings matching real camera settings is the awkward part.
