Hello guys!
To not mess up the forum with different works i will be posting here all my renderings.
First thank you guys for such a detailed response on my guitar neck shot. It is amazing how quickly i learn here new things. I have to admit that after this conversation about technical detail, i knew more about guitar building itself than on KeyShot:) But like Will said, that is the beauty of this forum.
I worked quite a bit with that model again, especially experimented with wood, and please tell me what do you think.
Thank you once again for help!
Cheers!
The neck wood and composition looks great. The only thing that would make it look more realistic to my eyes is that the top three strings (the thicker ones) would be wound, so they'll have a texture to them. You can see it in the attached image.
Other than that small detail that only guitar nerds will notice, this looks great!!(https://www.premierguitar.com/ext/resources/images/content/2015-12/Blogs/Jan16_Recording-Guitarist_WEB.jpg)
Doh! On second look, I can see there is a texture on the top strings. I would thicken that up slightly to be a bit more visible.
Nice work!
Lots of awesome texturing here, man. Great job!:)
Agreed! These look great. On one of them, I noticed a knot... I'd avoid that as no guitar would have a knot on the fretboard. Also, a darker, reddish will probably be best as it's more in line with what you see. A good, well-conditioned guitar will have been oiled up from time to time and be fairly dark. I see the wound texture you have on the strings (not sure if modeled or textured), but a great trick is to use the marble procedural for these, just remove the noise from it.
I'd also add some roughness texture to the sides of the frets. Then, use curvature or color gradient in addition to make sure the parts that touch the strings are shiny ;)
Lots of good stuff going on here!
Superbe! bravo!
First of all, thank you everyone! I really appreciate that help, good reviews, all the tips, tricks and improvements. Nevertheless the most important thing what i'm learning here from you guys,is a huge attention to the detail.
You also have to remember how much you are helping beginners even with a short few words.
The wound are not modeled, texture is from keyshot cloud called ''Screw Threads3'' but it's good to know that trick,i will remember that, thank you.
The texture on the side of the frets was a huge mystery for me,and righy now even with a effort to recreate that, a ''original'' made by Magnus it's an unsurpassed example:) But again, huge thank you for that tip!
Here is a shot with a changes.
Regards!
I present to you The Ugly one:) Just a daily stock render for practicing material graph and curvature. Any feedback are welcome.
Model from threedscans.com

Mate your timber textures are mind blowing!
Hi guys,
Highly inspired by Esben tutorial i tried to create something with touch of street art and my very first attend to photoshop also. Please tell me what do you think guys about that kind of work.
Model is from grabcad created by Onur AYTEKIN.
Thank you Nicordf and TpwUK! I don't know why but the wood is one of my favorite materials and i do my best to make it look as realistic as possible, but still a lot to learn :)
As always here is a few version of mapping and lighting.
Best!
UpsetLady4 gets my vote. Always happy to see people pushing different artistic views ... Keep posting whatever you do, art is a personal taste, just like a biscuit :P

Very cool texture. Well done.
Hello everybody
My look at awesome model of chinese monk from artec3d.com. Most of the texture are from poliigon.com
Best!
Fantastic! The effects used on this are subtle and well-done. Great rendering.
The monk render looks great. Awesome use of textures!
Very cool indeed! Bravo!
So much amazing -- thank you for sharing.
Hello everyone!
First of all i want to thank you guys for such a kind words about my latest work as well as for featuring ! It's a pleasure to saw that, and it's a big motivation to work harder. After a break because of different work,i would like to share a new project.
The Nixie Tube Clock is from 3dsky.org created by user - mfgolden ( www.threemarks.com ). In that place i would like to also send a huge thanks to owner for amazing model and big help from him. That clock itself is so cool and has so much potential in it,so i decide to play with it a bit more and finally a number of shots with different material, lighting and angles increase to a big amount:)
As always i would like to hear from you guys any feedback and help to improve that kind of shots!
Best regards
Wow! These are super-clean. Not sure I have much critique. Very cool!
Sweet and clean work.
This last set is awesome ! Very original concept.
Thank you very much guys ! I'm glad to hear that:)
You are tackling a tough challenge. If the wood is worn, so too should be the frets. And, it's been said before, but you gotta get those top three strings to have the proper winding (ribbing). It's a dead giveaway otherwise. Great attention to detail and really nice work!!!
Awsome stuff here! Love those closeup shots with DoF! Really fascinating. :)
I have been struggling for days trying to find words for these renders, suffice to say is that i am speechless, and that doesn't happen often.

Hello everyone!
Firstly, again, huge thanks for such a kind words! I really appreciate that you guys enjoy my work and effort.
Today i want to share with you my look at presentation of a Breitling wrist watch made together with Bentley. On that model i strongly focused on detail shot as well as a lighting.
That become my small tradition so again a number of renderings increase a little.
As always please share your thoughts, opinion, suggestion and critics.
Best regards!
That's just beautiful. Well done.
I love the ones with the cold light. Great job with these.
Gorgeous! Did you model this? Some very, very beautiful renderings here. Well-done.
Thank you guys! I really appreciate that opinions and kind words,it is a honor to hear that from such a good and experienced users!
Will, the model is not created by me,i forgot wrote that is from 3dsky.org made by erick3d. In free time i learn Alias so i hope in near future i will create something of my own :)
Best regards!
+1 on the cold lighted versions. Looks gorgeous.
Hello everyone!
Today something different,a quick composition exercise. I grabbed all the models like pistol, hand grenade, bullets, oil barrels and shoes from grabcad.
I hope you like it!
Best regards
Lots and lots of nice details here. That metal is truly alive! The boots looks surprisingly detailed to be a grabcad model, but the DoF may fool me a bit.
Metal on the pistol looks really nice ! I would rework the grenade material though. I think it should be a bit more green perhaps ?
Spectacular job on the gun metal, bullets and knurled surfaces! Grenade does look at bit too pristine. Great shot though!
wow this looks seriously cool! I do agree with Nico and Josh on the grenade material... it could use a faded or scrathced lable like the real ones, might give it that extra touch
Firstly guys, thank so much for feedback! You all are absolutely right about grenade material. I thought that should be brand new, straight from the factory :)
So i made some changes and please tell me what do you think.
Ps. Please also checks out my very first attempt to sculpture i've made some time ago using plasticine. You can find it on my artstation account.
https://www.artstation.com/artist/andrzejorzecki_86
I'm very curious what do you think about that.
Best regards!
Much better now Andrzej. Regarding the sculpture, if that was your first attempt, i just say Bravo ! The details are awesome and the anatomy seems spot on (from an absolutely rookie point of view). I laughed with the software used "fingers" ;D.
Great effort Andrzej! I've practiced on the same model long ago, probably one of the most incredible and highly detailed pistols on the grabcad and now I see some cool shots of it in here! keep up the good work.
Cool metal textures!
oh man! now it looks perfect... that grenade material looks great
Hello everyone!
Thank you guys for feedback and sugestion! I really appreciate that all your help. The sculpture was my very first attempt and amazing experience. I always wanted to sculpt something and finally i found time for that. Fingers are always the best for any creative task:)
The model of that gun is really well done itself and like Hossein said, has a huge potential. Thanks once again for that all words!
Today i want to share another composition exercise i've made using few models like couch, red cactus and decor set from 3dsky.org.
As always please share your thoughts, opinion, sugestion and help.
Best regards!
love that orange leather!
Hello everyone!
I would like to share with you today a special project. My colleague Piotr BiaĆecki from bialeckipiootr.wixsite.com/letmeintroducemyself created an amazing helmet model that impressed me a lot. The model itself has unlimited potential, so as my tradition says, the number of renderings has reached the limit.
I would like to once again thank Peter for this model and i hope you will like it.
As always please be free to leave any comment, suggestions, tips and tricks:)
Best regards!
Helmet.490 is my favorite. Nice job!
.464 has a very cinematic feel to it. Kinda reminds me the movie "Chappie". Is the model available for download ?
Awesome stuff! So much fun to work with models as detailed as this one.
The is awesome indeed. Love the detail and the retro-future style!
These look awesome Andrzej! specially helmet.532.Love those red laser eyes.makes the helmet more scary.
well done!
Lovely stuff Andrzej, my personal favourite's are the laser-scan eye variations :)
