I've been away for a while, an realised my previous topic expired already. But now I'm back and I'll create a new one!
Will be posting some renderings and material studies I've been doing on lunch time (plus a sneaking hour here and there)
Downloaded the model from threedscans.com to try to achieve that bank note portrait look. All done in material graph.
Speaker mesh study
I really love that speaker mesh, well done :)
It's making me want to try out something similar!!
Thanks Richard!!
Love the toon character. I imagine that coming out from a bill.

Thanks Nico! that was the idea from the beginning, to create a procedural-one-size-fits-all material with that bill look, but I guess I couldn't explain my idea in English hahaha.
Oooo, that grill mesh is mesh-eriffic. Cool bill material too!
Quick lunchtime Dragon render. Just realised that interior mode handles DoF way faster! ;D
Speaker mesh looks superb! Nice job.

Thanks Josh and Magnus! :)
Interior lighting study, the cart model was downloaded from dimensiva.
Just rendered a quick material study for a tarnished bolt downloaded from GrabCAD. Things you get done having lunch in front of your computer :)
Looking good ! Love the lighting.
Yeah, this is cool. I'd encourage you to find a more interesting background. Maybe some gradient or bokeh effect. Find out a color combination that works best.

Really nice Nico.I totally agree with Will here.Try adding a blue highlight and see the result,I think it might match with that orange/yellow tone.
