Title: Shootout on the Tantive IV
Post by: aptyler on April 17, 2020, 04:21:58 PM
Meshes and textures extracted from the games Star Wars Battlefront (2015), Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017), and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019). The Tantive IV interior was reassembled from hundreds of meshes using in-game transform blueprints and a custom script I wrote.

Very cool. How did you get all those meshes?

SWBF(2015) and SWBF2(2017) are both made by EA/DICE using the Frostbite game engine, and their assets can be extracted using Frosty tool suite. One caution though is that many of their meshes have textures mapped onto two separate UV channels (normal on UV channel 1 and everything else on UV channel 2), which to my knowledge KeyShot cannot yet handle.

SWJ:FO(2019) was build on the Unreal game engine, and so its assets can be extracted using Umodel.
