I get this message whenever I check for updates.
Anybody else see this or is it just me ::)
You can change the server setting inside the preference dialog.

Where?
How?
To what?
Preferences > Advanced > Network - talk to your IT person to see what it needs to be set to.
I have exactly the same problem. Nothing has changed on my network front since using KeyShot2.
Incidentally I can check for updates on KeyShot2 perfectly OK (even though there will be no more!) it just tells me "No new version was found".
Both KeyShot 2 and 3 are set for Automatic Proxy detection.

Yeah - I did - we tried it with 'Network' set to ....
Automatic proxy detection
No proxy
HTTP
SOCKS
..but nothing worked.
Keyshot 2 will connect with 'Network' set to Automatic proxy detection.
Do you have any further suggestions?
Try again. we just restarted the Proxy server.
Just tried again and I still get the same message
"Cannot connect to the update server. Please try again later"
