Title: Is there a way to deact..e license on second computer and activate again?OFFLINE
Post by: vitaly-sokol on February 25, 2015, 10:33:47 PM
For example from real life - I worked hard on first machine and went to sleep in deep night.
At the morning I went to work on second computer and now I have no access to my first computer, I can not deactivate license FROM it to activate it on second.

Is there any way to work in normal mode?
For example I use ZBRUSH on both machines without that lap dance.

Thank you.

You will have to deactivate KeyShot on one computer first before you can deactivate it on a second computer.

KeyShot and ZBrush are fundamentally different application. ZBrush will only do something for you upon interaction, while KeyShot will continue to render even if your are not interacting with it.

If you contact license@luxion.com they can help you out.

Thank you.
This is really annoying. This night I reminded myself a few times "don't forget to deactivate this... to continue work tommorow".
I forgot again.
Sad.
Only one good thing is
this happened because of morning sex.

Well in case you ever get delayed in the morning again, you can always use an app like Chrome Remote Desktop to remotely connect to your computer & deactivate it through the Chrome web browser   :)

It's super easy to use, far easier than any other solution I've seen.

And also, if it is so important you may want to consider buying a second license.

Yes, I could.

CYCLES vs KeyShot (http://vitaly-sokol.livejournal.com/507069.html)

$1995 - haha.
Even $200 is too much for this raw software.

But I have a better idea.

So if I'll do refund (I have almost 2 weeks for this) to do not disturb KeyShoters with my stupid questions and then I will use free and opensource software CYCLES as I did before.
CYCLES can RUN faster (http://vitaly-sokol.livejournal.com/507149.html)

Unfortunately BLENDER is SLOW with HUGE models from ZBRUSH.
But every day people make it better and better.

Today I had tested a model 1.5 - 2.7 millions tris, adjusted some viewport settings and I satisfied with result and performance.

Thank you, but then I can use TELNET ;) - oldfashion solution.
