Using Network rendering for an animation, I have 7 slaves for 92 cores, and all slaves but one drop out completely for the last dozen or so tiles on each frame, leaving that one slave to finish rendering that frame. Then they all kick back in for the next frame. But it seems to be slowing down the render time. Any thoughts or suggestions on this?

This behavior is correct. Since the farm renders one frame at a time, it has to wait until the last tiles are returned. So all the other slaves wait for the last slave to finish.
