Title: jitter
Post by: PeterSwift on August 18, 2016, 08:59:21 AM
I have a object that moves slowly forward towards the screen at the same time moving from the right to the left side.
Its very jittery and wondering why and if there is a fix. Is it any setting that makes it better in post? Been playing around with motion blur, frame blending but it dosnt get any better.  Or do i simply need to make it higher frame rate?

Any tips?

Can you post it so we can see it?

Sorry but that it's not possible right now, I will double check.

Just to be clear, you're referring to the motion of the object itself being jittery, not jittering noise on the surface?

what I can tell its not the surface, its the object. or the edges of the model that looks very (shaky, jittery, flickery) flickery is probably the best word I have for it.

Are you rendering out the animation with the "Maximum Samples" option? This is the best method for animations, as it ensures all frames are rendered with equal samples, which prevents flickering.
