Title: Rendering Paracord.

Has any one had success rendering out realistic parachord.  Attached is a photographic example. Would like to see an example with the chord turned and twisted even to see best way to keep pattern intact.

I don't know what modeling software do you use, but UV mapping is the way to go here. If you try any mapping methods available en KS by default on a twisted cable model, you WILL see seams everyhere, unless the scale of the texture is very tiny to notice.
