Post by: Pierpaolo on April 01, 2017, 09:42:29 AM
Hi everyone,
I'm realizing an interior video for this boat : https://vimeo.com/211102555
I'm working in interior mode but as you can see there are continuously flashing of the lights
I use normal  "area light"
Does anybody know how I could solve this disturbing flashing ?
Please help me !!!

Thank you all

I guess this depends on the render settings. Did you used advanced control? If so, change to max sample mode. And if you use the interior mode option (lighting tab) the max sample mode is the only one that works.
You'll need a high sample value if your metal materials has roughness applied. This causes longer render time for each frame.

Hope that helps to find the solution.

Thank you so much LayC42, I tried to render couple of seconds @64 samples but same result... I'm trying now with 256 samples ( 55 minutes each frame) let you know the result !
Thank you again for your time and help.

Sea is an unstable area, so i think  lights can be normal in this condition if you shake your boat a little.
