And just to be thorough, here is the benchmark for the i7-7700K PC I built just a few weeks ago. It pales in comparison to the Threadripper, but not a fair comparison with only 4 cores.
Looks like i'll be doing the majority of my heavy rendering with Threadripper for the foreseeable future. :)
