Title: KeyShot Render Competition - Pocket Watch
Post by: Andrew1183 on October 07, 2017, 01:58:24 PM
Hi everyone. Here's a old model I reworked a bit in Keyshot 7 for this competition with more dramatic lighting & some new materials. I used a few of the new metal presets such as Brushed Niobium and Anodized Titanium on pieces of trim here and there.

I'd say about 95% of the watch was modeled in AutoCAD. I did some cleanup of the meshes in Maya and did the chain links in ZBrush to make life easier. Minor post work was done in Photoshop.

The second image is just an older group of renderings I did in Keyshot 6 of other views, the wireframe & an exploded view of all the pieces.

Looks nice, but the table .... that's wood, right? I think it's better to blur the reflection .... it's a bit strange!
