Title: Lighting Query
Post by: solutola on June 03, 2018, 05:33:48 AM
I;m fairly new to keyshot and am trying to play around with the HDRI editor. However, in this scene one of my models is completely black no matter which environment I choose or rotate. It's like there isn't enough light but even adding another light object isn't helping? Would really appreciate help on this :)

Hello.

The size of the environment, ground size and the additional ground plane was not big enough.

Changes were:
- environment to 16450 mm
- ground size to 20220 mm
- ground plane scale to 20

Hope that helps

Cheers
Marco

Hi Marco,

Thanks for your response. I'm not sure how you change the environment size? I think I've fixed the other two.

Just look through the environment tab of the project dialog and you'll find that two parameters that defines the sizes of environment and ground.

Cheers
