Title: Keyshot shadows problem
Post by: andy90 on October 30, 2018, 02:06:52 AM
Hy there,
have a question about shadows in Keyshot, actually product vs interior mode...
The problem as you can see in the images is ground plane at interior mode (no shadows on ground plane) and sharp line, transition in shadows at product mode.

In this example i used HDRI pano that is actually unclipped.

Thanks.

Product and Interior Mode have different HDRI sampling. This manifests itself in a few scenarios, such as HDRIs with small bright light sources (e.g. sunny sky).
Interior Mode provides the most accurate results.

I am a bit puzzled by the lack of Ground Shadows with Interior Mode though. Did you use the exact same settings for both images? Can you share the scene?

I guess that a ground plane will help with the interior render mode.
