Post by: monsieurlacombe on December 03, 2018, 03:39:46 PM
Hey,
Is there a way to create such a "milky foil" as shown in the attached picture? Im grateful for your help.
Greetings.

I'd recommend using the Plastic (Cloudy) material type, and make sure your sheet has some actual thickness (volume).

Cheers,
Eric

I would start with the advanced material, black as diffuse and light grey in the transmission channels with a small roughness value on top and a high roughness in the transmission.

That should work fine and way faster then cloudy plastic (sorry Eric).

May share your test results and scene?!

Hope that helps

Cheers
