Title: white & shadows
Post by: nagelibre on March 04, 2019, 11:32:14 PM
Hello,

Is there a trick to smooth shadows on the white material with interior mode.

I tried different way and try different render timing (till 1 hour) but the result still the same.

I still have this "smocky" shadows on white parts.

Diffuse material is used for waves parts.

Thanks for advices.

Do you only changed the max time rate to effect other render quality? Or do you also changed the shadow quality in the lighting tab?
You can try to use the region render (pro only feature) and clip to the shadow area, try the product mode and let real time render res up the scene til you'll see a shadow quality that you're looking for. The heads up display will show the sample rate you need.
You can also tweak the material using occlusion or smooth the result in post.

Hope you' find the way that works for you.

Cheers
Marco
