As noted in my post in the Materials section, KeyShot has started crashing while editing in the Material Graph.
My computer specs and Windows log is attached. The package file is too large to send with this post entry so I am sending via WeTransfer.
I am using KeyShot 8.2.80.The model was created in Alibre 2018.2 (Build 19071).
Steps to recreate the problem:
- Load model.
- Double click on a Brass part to edit the material.
- Open the material graph.
- RMB click and add a Paint material in the mat graph.
- Select the new paint node.
- Hit "C" to preview the paint node.
- Click in the color box to edit the color of the paint node (KS may freeze at this point, if not, got to next step.
- Select a new color and ok the color dialog.
- Hit "C" again to turn of the paint node preview. (This is where KS freezes and crashes.
I have tried editing another model and got the same results as this one.Thought I should add that it crashes whether the Paint node is connected to the root material Label connector or not.
**Found out that there is a known bug in the color preview of the mat graph. Any idea when that will be fixed?
