Finally got my BTO HP z8 delivered! Moved from a 5 year old 640z that would run the camera benchmark at about 145fps

I know the Ryzens are so much cheaper for this sort of performance, but our IT dept is dedicated to HP contracts, so that's why they gave me this box. The one thing that I'm noticing that I have to do something about is that with my old 640 I never heard it and I never felt it before, just sitting under my hightop desk, and admittidy it made a great foot rest (no shoes :), but now this thing is a touch louder but holey cats my legs are sweating for all the heat its kicking out! My IT guy is getting me some monitor extensions so I can put it under the other side of my desk, but wow this thing runs HOT! And its air cooled too!
