Title: Game controller renders
Post by: Roshan Hakkim on December 31, 2019, 05:57:00 PM
Hi all,

First of all Happy new year! Hope 2020 is going to be a rocking year for all of you!

Would like to share this game controller which I sketched in Gravity sketch using Oculus Quest.

After taking it to Keyshot it was a fun few hours exploring colours and materials. But the first shot below is something which was particularly interesting. Got reminded of my good old days of Physics of refraction and light travel. Placed this glass wall with a bump map mapped onto it. Further amplified the division between the light and dark side by raising this glass wall and then placing a light panel beneath it to light up the bump ribs in the glass panel.
More renders below.

Also as a bonus sharing the youtube video which shows the sketching process in Gravity sketch.

Feel free to share your thoughts!
