Title: Retro shades
Post by: Hossein Alfideh on March 11, 2022, 02:28:15 AM
Hello everyone,
Here are the scenes I made for renderweekly's sunglasses challenge. Modeled in Catia and rendered in keyshot. Let me know which one you like more :)

I love those orange ones! What material did you use on those if I may ask.

Thank you so much for the feedback Will! And sorry for my late reply!
I used a simple material graph to get the look on this one. The only value I played with in the advanced material type is Diffuse transmission. All the other colors except for the specular is black. I also used a couple of textures to make a little bit of contrast here and there. Although the color variation highly popped out when I increased the "white balance" value. It made it look like both orange and yellow at certain areas like the handles.
