Title: transforming a UV Map?
Post by: cfjackso on March 30, 2012, 12:26:04 AM
Hi,

So I was wondering is there a way to transform/ non planer scale a texture using a UV Map in keyshot 3?  I have scaled it, but essentially what I am asking is, is there a way to scale in only one verticy?  If this isn't a tool currently it needs to be as it sucks to edit in photoshop and guess and check.

Thanks,

-CJ

If you click on the arrow left of the scale parameter in the texture tab then it will expand into two sliders for the horizontal and vertical direction. You can use the position tool to position the texture (or by setting the shift values also in the texture tab).

Thanks man!

I like how that feature couldn't be more hidden.

Yes, it'd be nice if you could expand all menus/advanced settings and leave them expanded, like you could in KeyShot 2.

I agree.  Add a setting in preferences to expand all settings by defult.
